Select a boat, find its Watchful database and open a snapshot to edit. Watchful may stay open for browsing. Close it before sending corrections or restoring a boat backup.
Defaults to yesterday. Only this day's editable report fields are transferred; AIS and the full database stay on the boat. Fresh full backups are made on the boat before any live correction.
Notify the selected boat before maintenance
Sending requests a Windows message box through MeshCentral. It does not confirm that someone has read it.

Choose the report day and the time zone used for that report. UK and mainland Spain change clocks seasonally; Spain is normally one hour ahead of the UK. Ask the vessel which time basis it uses. UTC stays consistent throughout the year.
The day filter and timeline use your selected report time zone. The editable date/time fields are explicitly UTC: stored as yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss. Convert ship time to UTC before changing a timestamp. A 24-hour status timeline becomes 23 or 25 hours when local clocks change.
Saving an entry updates only this server snapshot. Close Watchful on the boat before sending corrections. Send creates a boat backup, checks for conflicting changes, then applies the allowed corrections. Use Check boat to verify them and Open boat Watchful to reopen the app and let it sync. If a send is interrupted, check the boat before retrying; the snapshot stays locked until its outcome is known.
Restore boat backup restores the entire database saved before this session’s changes and also makes a safety backup. Later boat entries may be affected. Check with the vessel first. Bunkering amounts are litres and accept a decimal point.
Only administrators can save the MeshCentral service credentials or assign reports users to boat groups. These assignments govern this reports service; they do not change someone’s separate MeshCentral account.
